The Youth Against Disaster Initiative (YADI), a registered non-governmental organization for youth advocates on disaster risk reduction has called on Federal Government and other emergency stakeholders in Nigeria to take necessary measures to curtail rising insecurity that inflicts pains in innocent people.

They urged government to instantly step-up security in the area to protect lives and property of the people from further violence and ensure that the perpetrators did not go unpunished, as they are enemy to peace and unity of the country.

YADI condemned the years’ persistent violence in the state as it has resulted to social unrests posing unpleasant psychological trauma to the people. While calling for the immediate political interference before matters become uncontrollable.

While commending the effort of Joint Task Force (JTF) across the country and urged the Force never to relent from extending its activities to various hot spots in the county.
